Second is the smoke hazard. The flue gas produced by cupolas and electric arc furnaces used during processing usually contains a lot of carbon monoxide that is harmful to the human body. Carbon monoxide is also emitted when baking sand molds or clay cores.
The third factor is the climate factor. During the casting and production process of stainless steel castings, a large amount of heat will be generated. Especially when the weather is hot, the temperature in the production workshop will often be higher than 40°C, thus delaying production. Therefore, attention needs to be paid to improvements. Work environment, prevent heatstroke and cool down as much as possible.
In addition, harmful gases are often produced. During the process of using coke to melt metal and casting molds, ladles, and pouring, harmful gases such as sulfur dioxide that can easily cause respiratory diseases are generated.
During the casting and processing of stainless steel castings, fires and explosions can easily occur due to high temperatures and high radiant heat. And because the working environment will be relatively harsh, it is also easy to cause personal injury accidents such as smashes, bruises or burns.
In addition, in the casting processing process, some harmful dust pollution is often generated. For example, during mold and core sand transportation and processing, boxing, sand shakeout and casting cleaning processes, a large amount of dust will be generated in the working area. Among them The most harmful thing is silica dust. If there is no good dust exhaust method in the workshop, it is easy for workers to suffer from silicosis, so the production workshop must take corresponding measures.
