For stainless steel production plants, product production equipment is the key to their survival. The quality of the equipment also determines the quality and performance of the products. It also greatly affects the operating conditions of the stainless steel plants. Let's take a stainless steel pipe factory as an example to compare the differences between seamless steel pipe and seam welded pipe production equipment.
Stainless steel pipes mainly fall into two categories: seamless steel pipes and seam-welded pipes. During the production process, the equipment required for the two is not exactly the same. This difference can be seen from their production process flow charts.
The above is the production process of seamless steel pipes. It can be seen that in the production process of seamless steel pipes, steps such as perforation, cold drawing (cold rolling) and inspection are key points in the overall production process. The corresponding equipment is mainly punching machines, pipe drawing machines, pipe rolling machines and testing equipment, which play a vital role in the smooth progress of production.
The more common piercing machines include Φ50, Φ90, and Φ250 series hot rolling piercing units. The Φ2000mm Julong piercing unit can also pierce and roll solid billets with a diameter of 210-1000mm, and can also pierce and roll hollow tube billets with a diameter of 1000-2000mm. The rolling specifications of this unit are at the horizontal level. There is also a TZC200 tapered roller piercing unit, which uses a combined frame, tapered roller piercing, fully hydraulic quick roll change and digital display CNC feed angle adjustment technology, and the level is also Achieved, used in some large domestic stainless steel plants.
In the process flow of stainless steel pipe forming, cold drawing and cold rolling are two coexisting processes. The effects achieved in actual production are similar, and the manufactured seamless steel pipes each have their own advantages. Among domestic stainless steel pipe-making enterprises, YLB100t, YLB150t, YLB250t, and YLB550t series high-precision hydraulic cold-drawing units are several types of cold-drawn pipe-making equipment that are commonly used and have a good reputation. Among the cold rolling mill units, LG30-H, LG55-H, LG60-H, LG60-2H, LG110-H, and LG250-H series cold-rolled tube mill units are the most commonly used models. The LG-200 and φ159 continuous pipe rolling mills are also the units preferred by some large steel mills. Among them, the LG-200 cold-rolled pipe machine can roll seamless steel pipes with specifications of φ125-200X3.5-22X4000-10000, and the φ159 continuous pipe rolling machine can roll seamless steel pipes with diameters of φ114-159.
The picture above is a process flow chart for producing stainless steel welded pipes. Among them, forming and welding are the main processes for turning stainless steel strips into round pipes. In welding processing, the more common welding equipment mainly includes straight seam high-frequency welding equipment, straight seam double-sided welding process and spiral submerged arc welding process.
