The arc start and end of the tack welding of stainless steel pipe fittings should be smoothly transitioned, the weld bead should not be too high, and good fusion must be ensured to prevent defects such as incomplete penetration and slag inclusion. If the tack weld is cracked, the weld at the crack must be removed and then tack welded again. After tack welding, if the interface is not flush, it should be corrected before formal welding. Avoid forced assembly as much as possible to prevent the tack weld or formal weld of the weldment from cracking during the welding process. If necessary, the length of the tack weld can be increased and the pitch of the tack weld can be reduced, or heat treatment measures can be adopted.
