Stainless steel welded pipes often accumulate dirt on the surface, which needs timely cleaning to ensure smooth use. Below are some cleaning methods:
1. For Dust: Use soap, mild detergent, or warm water. To remove trademarks or paint films, wash with warm water and a mild detergent. Use alcohol or organic solvents like ether or benzene for adhesive residues. Wipe grease or oil with a soft cloth, followed by cleaning with a neutral detergent or ammonia solution.
2. For Bleach and Acids: Rinse immediately with water, then soak in ammonia or a neutral carbonated soda solution, and wash with a neutral detergent or warm water.
3. For Rainbow Stains: Caused by excessive use of detergent or oil, clean with warm water and a neutral detergent. Rust stains can be removed with a 10% nitric acid solution, abrasive cleaner, or special cleaning agents.
4. Maintenance: Regular inspection and cleaning are required in environments with volatile acid or alkaline gases, or in dark, humid, and airless spaces, to prevent rust. In standard environments, clean every two to three months, avoiding contact with cement, acids, and alkaline substances.
