Galvanized square tube processing plating process mainly has pretreatment, plating and post-plating processes, the quality of the plating depends on the material plating process, and the plating process is affected by many factors, summarized in six factors are as follows:
1, zinc content: the higher the zinc purity of the zinc block, the narrower the range of brightness, the car plate is easier to get thicker plating, plating iron content will be lower; when the purity of the zinc block is too low, the range of brightness will be wider to achieve the required thickness of the zinc layer requires a longer period of time, which leads to higher levels of iron content in the galvanized layer.
2, sodium hydroxide: sodium hydroxide has a double effect on the reaction, when its content is too high, high temperature operation process is prone to scorching phenomenon; and its content is too low, the solution dispersion ability is poor, which will reduce the quality of the zinc layer.
3, iron content: when the iron content is too high, the iron in the plating layer will be correspondingly more, which will lead to insufficient brightness of the passivation film of the product; while the iron content is too low will lead to low iron content in the galvanized layer, reducing the corrosion resistance of the automobile plate and will lead to the surface of the automobile plate olive color.
4, brightening agent: now use more brightening agent by ZF-100A and ZF-100B mixed composition, the former concentration is too high will enhance the brittleness of the plating layer, and too low will cause low-current area of the plating layer is more sparse, the phenomenon of uneven passivation.
5, Temperature: too high a temperature in the plating process will lead to a decrease in the dispersing ability of the solution, increased iron content in the coating, uneven passivation; while the reaction temperature is too low, the high-current density area will be easy to scorch, the coating is more brittle and slower deposition speed.
6, the cathode moving speed: electroplating process must ensure that the cathode is in the mobile state, if the moving speed is too fast, electroplating process, high current density area coating will be rougher; and moving too slow and may produce airflow, resulting in uneven plating of the material.
Galvanized square tube is using zinc as the electroplating metal, electrolysis of Zn2+ in solution, and then deposited on the surface of galvanized square tube, forming a uniform and dense layer of zinc metal. Compared with other metals, zinc belongs to a kind of amphoteric metal, which is soluble in acid and alkali, and it is easier to electrolyze metal ions in the solution.
