Stainless steel pipes are widely used in the field of electric heating pipes, mainly in the production of electric water heaters, which mainly include heating tank plates, water volume adjustment faucets, power regulators, pressure sensors, water inlet pipes and water outlet pipe components.

Among them, the heating tank plate is the key part of the instant electric water heater, and the components of the heating tank include tank weight, sealing ring, cover and electric heating element. Among them, the electric heating element is in the groove of the groove plate, which is also called the tank of the instant water heater.
The stainless steel heating tube is used as the instant water heater of the heating body, and the cold water enters the inner tank and flows directly through the surface of the stainless steel electric heating tube to be heated. Stainless steel electric heating tube is the most widely used heating method in the current instant electric water heater industry.
The advantage of the stainless steel heating tube is that it has a very good heat resistance and can withstand dry burning, and the production and processing technology of the tube is relatively mature, and the cost is relatively low.
At present, there are many types and complex stainless steel heating tubes used in various instant electric water heater manufacturers, and the price difference between stainless steel tubes of different qualities is obvious. Moreover, the electric heating tubes made of the same stainless steel material have obvious gaps in the quality and performance of the final product.
The quality of stainless steel pipes generally depends on the nickel content in the stainless steel composition. Nickel is an excellent corrosion-resistant alloy element. The combination of nickel and chromium in stainless steel can optimize the corrosion resistance and process capability of stainless steel materials. However, if low-carbon nickel stainless steel wants to obtain a pure austenitic structure, its nickel content needs to be as high as 24%, and only when the nickel content is 27% can the corrosion resistance of stainless steel in certain media change significantly.
Therefore, from the material point of view, 800, 840, and 316L are relatively good corrosion-resistant and high-temperature-resistant stainless steel electric heating tube materials. The nickel content of 800 stainless steel tubes reaches 30%, and the nickel content of 840 stainless steel tubes reaches 20%. The nickel content in inferior 304 stainless steel pipes is only 8%. Therefore, products using high-temperature-resistant and corrosion-resistant stainless steel heating tubes with relatively high nickel content also have very good advantages.
